It's time to meet our 2019 May 5th-11th Weekly Featured Creative, Maria! Maria is very talented, and having her in the Artistic Alliance Community is such an honor. Her work is stunning and edgy! We had a great time getting to know her and we are positive you will too! (Maria's modeling, photography and artistic abilities will be shared throughout this post.)
Tell us about you! What is your story! Married, kids fur babies? What things do you love besides your craft? I am a single mom of 2 teenage boys and all the scaly and fluffy pets that I can bring into my life are welcome <3
Photographers...be straight with us... what brand do you use? What is your favorite piece of gear - lens, camera body, etc.? Nikon
What makes your passion shine and what are you most passionate about when you see your finished work? I love working with angles and movements. I personally am not a straight on photo person. What has been that hardest part of being a photographer/model/makeup artist/hair stylist, etc.? Ummm... making silly faces and having fun with it. It's very difficult to not be silly and be professional on all sides of the camera. I can do it... I just don't want to or like to :)
Would you change anything that you have learned? I would only like to learn more!
What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind with your work? People to say "wow that chick is crazy," but in a good way. What advice do you have for people just starting out? Relax and have fun. Don't stress and don't go into it competing.
