SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR ALLIANCE MAGAZINE

Hello and Welcome!

Welcome to Alliance Digital Magazine! We're so excited to showcase the creativity of artists across all disciplines - from photographers and models to makeup artists, designers, and more. Our collaborations are open to all members and offer a chance to grow your portfolio, be featured in the magazine, and capture behind-the-scene moments along the way.

To help us move quickly and get each issue out smoothly, please review simple submission steps below before posting.

✨ Creative Credits
(Required for Every Submission)

Please be sure to include full credits for everyone involved - proper credit is essential and helps support our creative community!

Model: Real name, stage name (if applicable), age, email, and Instagram or Facebook handle
(Age is not displayed — it’s only used to determine the appropriate issue.)

Photographer: Real name, company name (if applicable), email, and social handle

Creative Team: Hair stylist, makeup artist, designer, assistants, etc. — include business name, email, and social handles. (Yes, even assistants — if they helped, they deserve credit!)

Location: Park, venue, or business name, plus email and social media if available

📖 About Publication & Image Use

Alliance is a digital-only magazine — we do not provide free copies or tear sheets. If you’d like a printable version, you may email us privately to request a PDF. All printing, purchasing, and shipping are handled through the publishing company of your choice.

By submitting your work, you grant Alliance permission to feature your images in an upcoming issue of the digital lookbook and on our social media to promote current and future issues.

All submissions are reviewed by our editorial team. If selected, you’ll be contacted with next steps. Submissions are always free, and all featured work is fully credited to the original creators.

📩 How to Submit to Alliance

We’re looking for high-quality, inspiring, original work that reflects creativity and collaboration across all artistic disciplines.

✅ Accepted Content

Photography, modeling, makeup, hair, fashion artistry, and behind-the-scenes moments.

📐 Image Requirements

• High resolution (300 DPI)
• No watermarks
• JPEG or PNG format
• Portrait or landscape (8.5 x 11 preferred)
• Must be original/exclusive content

🚫 No advertising, website links, or fee mentions — these will be automatically disqualified.

If selected, we’ll comment asking you to email your submission.

⚠️ Important Notes

• You must have access to your high-resolution files
• No screenshots, Facebook-saved images, phone images, or low-res files
• Gallery links are welcome
• Photographer may submit on your behalf

If you’re emailing your submission, please include the model’s name and age, photographer, and all creative team credits in the same message — keeping everything together helps us process submissions quickly and get issues out faster!

Subject Line:

For open submissions, label your email OPEN
For themed issues, use the THEME NAME

After submitting, watch your inbox for a confirmation email marked RECEIVED! It will let you know which Issue # your work will appear in and when to expect the release.

Sometimes we may need additional info or corrections — if so, we’ll email you. Please respond promptly to ensure your work is included. If a deadline is missed, your submission will automatically roll over into the next issue.

🌟 Cover Images

We know everyone dreams of being on the cover — and we love your enthusiasm! Cover selections are pre-selected in advance and require specific elements to make the front or back of Alliance Magazine.

What We Look For:

Photography skill: The photographer’s expertise is the most important factor for cover consideration.
Team quality: Models supported by a strong creative team — hair, makeup, designer, stylist, etc. — are more likely to be chosen.
Composition: The image needs space on the sides for any issue text.

Covers are often selected one to two issues in advance, so even if your image is chosen, it may appear in a later issue. Don’t be discouraged if your submission ends up inside the magazine — every feature is an opportunity to shine!

📬 Ongoing Submissions

We’re always accepting submissions for future issues of Alliance! Send us your pre-selected image from Facebook or Instagram, or if you’d like us to review multiple images, email a downloadable gallery link with 4–7 high-resolution images (8.5 x 11, 300 DPI) to artacmagazine@gmail.com.

Don’t worry about resizing — we’ll adjust all images to fit our pages. If an image is slightly off-center or angled, we’ll crop and center it to make it shine in the magazine.

All submissions must have approval from your creative team before sending. This includes models, photographers, hair & makeup artists, designers, assistants, etc. For minors, photographers must have parent or guardian permission before submitting. Make sure everyone on your team knows your work is being submitted — collaboration and communication are key!
