First, let's define what boudoir photography is. Boudoir refers to a woman's dressing area. This can be a bedroom, vanity, or anything of the like. That translates to photography as a portrait shoot that someone does privately for their spouse, usually in lingerie.
Boudoir is not only about being sexy in front of the camera. I love to capture an array of different emotions - being vulnerable or shy is just as sexy as being sultry. Women can find this to be very pampering and these photographs are usually gifted to their spouse, before/after a wedding or before/after having a baby. A man doing a boudoir or "dudoir" photo shoot is usually for their portfolio (if he's a model) or just simply for his spouse.
